When we have personal items that are valuable, we take extra steps to protect them. In the same way, your creative work (your “intellectual property”) also has value and may need special protection in the form of a patent, copyright, or trademark. Figuring out how intellectual property works takes time and research and you’ll probably have a lot of questions like:

  • What part of my creation can be protected?
  • What type of protection do I need?
  • Do I need the help of an attorney?
  • Is it worth the time and expense to protect my idea?

These are some common questions, and you likely have others that are unique to your invention.

At InventHUB, we’ve been providing free and confidential advice to inventors and dreamers in southeast Ohio since 2007. We are experts at helping people like you navigate the world of intellectual property. Take a look at some of the successful clients that we’ve been privileged to work with HERE.
